Phase 2 Of Our COVID-19 Reopening - Standard Concrete Products

As Pennsylvania’s construction industry reopens, so are we! Standard Concrete has moved to the next phase of it’s reopening plan while still taking necessary precautions to keep our employees and customers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of Monday, May 4, 2020, we have opened the doors of our store to customers for the first time since we completely closed in March. Prior to this, we were only doing sales through the truck scale window. Of course, if you still feel comfortable doing business through the truck scale window, you may continue to do so. If you have concerns about shopping in our store, please call us at 717-843-8074, so we can work to accommodate your needs during this difficult time.

These are some of the new procedures we have put in place for everyone’s safety:

At this time we are limiting the number of customers in our store to 7.
We are requiring our employees and customers to wear face masks.
We put tape markings on the floor at our sales counter to make sure we continue to social distance.
Our employees are sanitizing door handles and frequently used surfaces regularly.

With the opening of our store, we have also begun to accept cash and checks. Credit Card and account sales are still PREFERRED.

The health and safety of our employees makes our store safer for our customers. We are taking measures to make sure that the employees you are working with are healthy, and safe to help you.

Precautions we are now taking with our employees are:

Temperature checks everyday prior to starting work.
Hourly hand washing breaks.
Employees must stay home if they feel ill, and leave immediately if they fall ill at work.
Employees are staying in their designated workspace.
All employees have proper PPE and sanitizing materials to keep their space clean.

New Precautions — Red lines taped on the floor mark how far customers should stand from the counter and distance themselves.

We have increased our hours. We are now open Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm. We are also open Saturdays from 7am to 12pm.

Standard Concrete is an essential Pennsylvania business. We have put these plans in place so we can be here for your masonry, concrete, landscaping, and building needs. It is important for our economy and the construction industry for us to be open, but more importantly it is important for us to all be safe.
